THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: (Psalm 66:1)

The more joyous you are as a person, the more emotional strength, you will have!

Joy is like medicine,
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones (Proverbs 17:22)

Practice joy! Laugh, smile and have joyful laughing sessions!

Yes practice laughing! Whether you laugh hysterically or giggle,
that doesn't matter!

Practice what makes you laugh! Perhaps a comedy? Or just laugh! But keep the levels of joy high in your life, because the strength from joy is vitally important!

Develop the fruit of joy, that's already in your spirit!

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23)

Prayer, Dear Abba God, our awesome Father, thank you that you love yours so very much! Thank you that the fruit of JOY IS OURS! Please help your beloved so that
we laugh more and more, and worry less and less in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

GOD APPRECIATES THANKFULLNESS

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? (Psalm 6;5)

If their is an attitude of our hearts, that God loves most, is giving God thanks!

God appreciates, desires and loves giving Him thanks so much so, that the Psalmist wrote that their is no thanks in the grave!

Thanks has rescued many a men, brought about many deliverances and won many battles for God's beloved people!

"And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour
And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets" (Joshua 6; 2-4)

The worship, the sound, the thanks, brought the walls of Jericho down into the dust!

That was supernatural and that was God's doing! In the gospel of Luke

"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan (Luke 17;15-16)

Jesus appreciated the lepers giving of thanks!

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14;6)"

God's life, favor and blessings are in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Pray; Dear Omnipotent God, as yours thanks so much, the blessings, much favors, mercies, love, abundant miracles of divine graces, deliverances and so many good things that you have blessed your people with and our hearts are expectant that Almighty God will bless His Beloved People, more and more and in the new month! Thank you God our Father, Almighty God in the name of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

MAKE PROGRESS IN PRAYER

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1)

Any man or woman who ever made significant impact in the Kingdom of God was a person of prayer

Even our Lord Jesus Christ was a man of prayer. He is our standard. We are to learn from Jesus Christ of Nazareth and press harder so that we make irreversible progress in the spirit through prayer

Prayer has to be something we enjoy because, when we pray – we spend time with our Heavenly Father. We spend time with the Holy spirit

If you have not been praying, start. All you need to do is start and ask the Holy spirit that He helps you to stay in the place of prayer

And keep at it, every single day – pray. Don’t limit yourself with time. God is not necessarily concerned about time. Just keep pressing and pressing in prayer, don’t stop; keep moving in prayers

If you have been praying, GO DEEPER! Get deeper, stay long in prayer. You should have special times of prayer however, learn to constantly commune with the Holy spirit everywhere you find yourself

Always be in constant fellowship with Him
Remember, men ought always to pray and not to faint

PRAYER DECLARE
I will keep praying, I see myself in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The word of God is working in me and I am making huge progress in my prayer life with the Holy Spirit as my companion in the precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

OUR JESUS DESTROYS THE DEVILS ACTIVITIES

When Jesus came to the Earth, He went around doing good, healing people, showing mercy, but the religious leaders didn’t accept Him!

Even though He had done no wrong, they falsely tried him, forced him to carry His own cross to be crucified!

Hanging on the cross, He could have called angels to rescue Him, but He didn’t!

He hung there for you and for me! The nails didn’t hold Him on the cross; love held Him on the cross! It was all a part of God’s plan to destroy the works of the enemy, the reason for which He came to Earth! Jesus went before us and crushed satan’s head!

He took away all His power! Now we can live a victorious life!

Whatever you are facing; trouble at work, mistakes you have made, guilt, condemnation, may be intimidating or seem harmful, but it's not what you think! You can’t let fear or worry dominate!

You just have to take steps forward so that as you do so, discover that Jesus has already gone before and defeated those enemies!

No wonder the scripture speaks, "But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8) Maintain your faith in what He has already done!

Refuse to accommodate anything of satan or darkness in your life! Enforce the victory that Jesus Christ got for you and enjoy your glorious life in Him!

Your victory is firmly secured through Jesus finished work, which is your heritage in Christ!

Prayer
Dear God, help us to be genuine servants of the most High God!
God thank you for the Son of God that came, was born of the Holy Spirit who lived for our salvation!
Jesus yours love you!
Your beloved are not just hearers of the word, or speakers but actual doers too! Help us so that we follow your Holy Spirit's promptings daily in the lovely name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

SHEEP AMONGST WOLVES

See, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10: 16)

How is it possible that we can be like sheep, serpents, and doves?

A few verses earlier, we are told that it is our job as Jesus' followers to go out and spread the news to those who are lost!

This is not an easy job as we will encounter others who oppose, disagree, and persecute us!

We need to be like sheep; able to be led by a shepherd, a clear picture that we are being sent into a world that will push back against us (wolves)

We need to be as serpents; wise, watchful understanding of the words we speak!

We need to be as doves; harmless, gentle, trustworthy, full of integrity!

These three things without the others do not represent Christ well! However, all three together create a synergetic force that is from God, loving, and quick to speak the truth!

Are you scared to speak the truth? Well, don't despair because at different times everyone is! What is awesome is that we have a God who is always their and that God's People can draw strength from Him!

Lord, I pray that Your people will be brave and resilient in sharing Your truth! I pray that Yours would understand fearful things happen in life, but that You Almighty Father are Omnicient (all -knowing) Omnipresent (ever -present) and Omnipotent all-powerful and live in Your Precious Beloved People through the Holy Spirit in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

PRAY PRAISE AND THANK GOD THROUGH SUFFERING

“Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die! (Job 2:9)

When it comes to understanding suffering; look to Job who was afflicted in horrendous ways, yet still trusted in God!

Job lost his children, his wealth and temporarily lost his health! We never really come to a conclusion as to why Job had to endure so much, perhaps we can relate to his suffering story in our own lives or the lives of others!

Waiting through suffering is hard, yet Job is someone we can look to as he believed and trusted in God through it all!

Job was honest in his affliction, but he would not stop trusting in God, even when his wife said, those words!

It is our human response to cry out for answers! Job’s wife saw all that her husband had endured, but still Job remained faithful to God despite the unhelpful comments made by both family and friends!

God blessed Job abundantly after his time of struggle, doubling his wealth, and healed his flesh like new!

Today, we can know God’s blessing through Jesus Christ who suffered and died in our place, paying the price our sin deserves, so that we may have eternal life and a good relationship with God!

Both Job and Jesus exemplify how to endure suffering with a firm trust in God!

Prayer Dear Father God, in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, help Yours understand that through patience and steadfastness of prayer, our relationship develops with unwaivering belief and assurance as Your love in our hearts is strengthened, Increased, giving Praise and remaining steadfast in our confession of faith unto the Glory of Abba Father in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

God's Mantle FAVOUR!

And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men (Luke 2:52)

God has put something on your life that gives you an advantage, something that will open doors that you can’t open, something that will make you stand out in the crowd! Its called “favor!”

Favor will take up from the background to the foreground! Favor will give you preferential treatment, things you don’t deserve!

That person who was so against you, for some reason they have changed! Now they are for you! That wasn’t a coincidence! That was the favor of God!

The people in Noah’s day didn’t care anything about God! They were living wildly, partying, worshipping idols!

God was so upset that He was about to destroy the Earth through a great flood! He could have wiped everyone out and started over, but the Scripture says, “Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”

Why did he find favor and not all the other people around him who were about to perish? The next verse says, “Noah continually followed God’s will and did what was right.”

Noah could have compromised, fit in, done what everyone else was doing, but he made the choice to walk in obedience! When you honor God, when you keep Him first place, you will find favor in the eyes of the Lord! Theirs a blessing on your life that will push you up when others are going down!

Prayer: Dear Almighty Omnipotent God, thank you that Your Favour is on Your Beloved Precious People and will never be removed, shaken, taken or ruined, because Your Love is eternal and You have promised that You Almighty God will never leave or forsake Your Beloved and very Precious Holy People who are committed to serving, loving and obeying the word of God and living holy lives unto Our Omnipotent Father God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

WORDS HAVE CREATIVE POWER

"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." (Psalm 107:2)

When you speak something out, you give life to what you are saying!

Today, I want to remind you of the power of confession! It's one thing to believe you are blessed!

But when you say, "I am blessed!" That's when blessings come to you!

Nothing happens until you speak! What you say is what you get! (Psalm 107:2) say's, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so."

It doesn't say let the redeemed think so, believe so or hope so!

When God created the world's He didn't just think them into being! He didn't just believe there would be light and land, oceans and animals!

He had it in his heart, but nothing happened until He spoke!

God said, "Let there be light," and light came! His thought's didn't set it into motion!

His words set it into motion! It's the same principle today! You can believe all day long and not see anything happen!

You can have faith in your heart, big dreams, be standing on God's promises and never see anything change!

What's the problem?

Nothing happens until you speak! Instead of just believing you are going to get out of that problem, you have to say it!

When you speak; just like when God spoke, things begin to happen! But don't change your confession!

Just as a single drop of ink poisons a pure glass of water, so does a single negative word said in faith!

Prayer: Dear Father God bless Yours with grace, favour, mercy, wisdom and the truth of Your word! God please bless Your beloved with opportunities so that your people grow and have Increase in our lives daily and for 2025 as we SOW prophetic words now in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! GOD'S MIND IS ALWAYS POSITIVE!

"My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy (James 1:2)

Isn’t it amazing how often God’s Word seems to flip conventional, earthly wisdom on its head?

The world says the strong are revered and honoured while the weak are pretty much ignored!

But God says the strong will become weak and the weak will become strong! The world says the first are first because they are the best and ignore the last!

But God says, in His Kingdom, the first will be last and the last will be first!

The world says the humble should be ignored while the exalted should be idolized! But God sees it the opposite!

He say's the humble will be exalted while the exalted will be humbled! God tells us that trouble or tribulations are not really trouble at all, but rather a beautiful thing! Because these are an opportunity for our growth and joy!

God instructs us not to look at trouble as the world does, but rather as an opportunity of growing in our faith!

God's People should Increase our trust in Him, and become Godly vessels unto others, changing lives, or better yet helping save lives!

Count it all joy! What a great way of thinking and living our lives!

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help Yours each day, so that we see the world as You Almighty God see and face trouble or tribulations as an opportunity of growth and joy in Jesus Christ's mighty name!

He said, "Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24)

It's good to pray; because God's word asks that God's People pray, but the power that works is not in praying, but in believing in the God unto whom we pray!

It's important that God's People know how to pray! Learn to pray correctly and also understand the principal of faith in prayer!

In prayer you must pray the word of God in faith because the word of God is the power of God!

Jesus taught how to pray faith based prayers that produce results;

Jesus's emphasis in this scripture wasn't on prayer, but on the subject of faith!

When you pray, you have to take a step further by believing you have received what you asked for, thats the faith principal in prayer!

Believe you have what you asked, though unseen on earth during the prayer, in the spirit God has given unto you, what you asked at the time you asked in prayer!

Keep a good confession and keep declaring that you have what you asked! Dont utter or speak contrary or opposite faith!

So if you prayed and you didn't receive, it means you didn't demonstrate your faith in the word!

You have to look at God's word and find out what it says about the situation you are dealing with, and then pray in line with the rhema or revelation word given unto you from the Holy Spirit!

Rhema is the revelations from the Holy Spirit through the pages in the Bible!

Having prayed, believe that you have received! Don't start watching to see whether or not the condition has changed; just keep rejoicing, knowing that you have received!*

Prayer, Dear Almighty Father, our Heavenly God Omnipotent, thank you that you are building your church on the revelations from the Holy Spirit through your precious word, the Bible! As God's People pray, God's People receive what was asked in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

Confidence is such an important attribute to have! Confidence draws the right people, circumstances and blessings in to your life!

STOP THINKING WRONG!

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God! And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6 - 7)

Dont focus on the problems of life! Years ago, I was facing many trials and tests, while in prayer, looking up at the clouds, their was a large menacing cloud!

This cloud was seemingly so big, dark and threatening! A thunderstorm! I remember during prayer asking God if He was willing to help!?

I felt as if hope was dimishing and lacked answers! Then during that prayer session, having forgotten the cloud, looking up again at the clouds, that bad cloud was no where to be seen! The cloud had vanished!

Then in the far distance, their was a tiny cloud that kinda ressembled the big omnious cloud!

God spoke, He said, that's what happens when you don't focus on your problems, circumstances or the so called limitations, they shrink from your mind and from your life!

What you think, shapes your life!
What are you watching?
What are you focusing on ?

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things (Philippians 4;8)

TRUE, HONOURABLE, JUST, LOVELY, COMMENDABLE, EXELLENT, PRAISE JESUS!

Our focus must be on Him, the Omnipotent God, at all times and seasons! Keep on praying and keep your eyes on JESUS and KEEP THINKING on JESUS!

Prayer: Dear Father, as Your Precious People, our focus is not on dreads, fears, negative thoughts! Abba Father, Your mercies God are new each morning! Your grace is suffcient and Your love never ends! Our hearts, minds, thoughts and purposes are only on You and Your Precious Word! CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (self control) against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23)

Our emotions are like a yo-yo! That's a small plastic wheel with a piece of rope attached

The yo-yo gets flung down to the floor and up again! Emotions can be up one day and down the next!

If you are born again from the Holy Spirit, your emotions are subject unto the Holy Ghost, the fruit of self control and temperance, controls our state of well being!

Discouragement and negative thoughts are the devils friends that he uses to restrict, hinder, oppose and oppress

The devil attempts to use these very effectively, with the purpose of destruction in our lives!

His Beloved must not and will not allow depression, oppression, discouraging thoughts, circumstances or hopeless thoughts, to hinder or limit what Our All Powerful God can do with People that believe and act on His word and principals!

Hope is the solution! Hope of eternity with Our Omnipotent Father! Hope of eternal life that is experienced on earth now!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you Abba God that You are a good God with good plans, purposes and passions that You have placed in our hearts! These align in our lives with full assurance of salvation and the hope of a blissful, blessed and fruitful life on earth until eternity for Your Glory, Power and Kingdoms sake in the precious name of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

GOD OUR SHIELDER!

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. (Psalm 28:7)

In a world that seems to be spinning out of control, its comforting to know God has promised that He will protect His people!

We may not be on the front line of war; but we all face an enemy who intends to steal, kill and destroy!

Even when disaster strikes, storms rage, and prayers seem unanswered, God will prevail! God’s word is a shield over you!

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)

The word covers you, so that no fiery dart of the devil can penetrate your life!

God desires to bless you, surround you with His goodwill and will always protect you! He does this with His Word!

Even though as a Christ follower the Holy Spirit lives within you, you must still make certain, that you have your shield of faith, in place when the devil aims fiery darts at you!

How? By knowing God’s word intimately, and standing on His word!

If evil knocks, answer with the word! Circumstances may not look good! But keep your heart fixed on God’s word, look unto His promises instead of the situation or circumstances! Resist the devil and he will cower and run!

Prayer: Dear Mighty Father, our Omnipotent God, yours take our seats in the refuge of the Most High; staying put! Holding your position even under pressure from our enemies, foes or adversaries, who will flee! Yours are one with You Our Father! Our focus is the word and our mouths constantly declare it! Making it a priority to spend time with Him every single day! Our hearts are steadfast in His love, revolving around our relationship with Him, in the glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

DON'T STOP SLINGING STONES!

And the LORD Almighty will shield them. They will destroy and overcome with slingstones. They will drink and roar as with wine; they will be full like a bowl used for sprinkling the corners of the altar (Zechariah 9:15)

In life, sometimes we face hard times! Sometimes we lose all the charm of our life, but we have to keep our faith in God!

Even when we don't have hope, we should keep believing in God and His wisdom!

Never lose hope in any situation; don't allow a challenge to become your identity!

Challenges in life are inevitable, but being defeated is an option!

Refuse to speak defeat over your life because of your present circumstances!

In life, we make war and win with words! Our words are our vehicles; send your words on an errand to take you to a whole new higher level!

Zip up the negative words and start speaking faith and victory into your life! Your words will carry you through your current situation!

Speaking words in prayer, angels of God and the holy spirit of God, will take these words and weaponize them!

That's what makes them mighty to the pulling down of strongholds!

The word of the Lord within you and on your lips carries a powerful atmosphere, a force that causes supernatural changes! Start speaking now! Don't stop sledging the word of God! Sow, sledge or throw and sing the word!

The word fights our battles, builds our lives and magnifies God, as well as saves souls! The word does various things!

Refuse to accept what you see with your physical eyes, that is not in consistency with God's eternal word for your life, believe only what the word says about you and keep speaking it!

Prayer: Dear Omnipotent God, as long as yours choose to win the battles of life with holy words, spoken from the truth and the light, of God's word, yours can succeed! The word of God is the victory, that overcomes the world in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

GOD LONG LASTING

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some think of slowness (2 Peter 3:9)

Have you ever felt like the Lord was leading you to do something, but it seemed to be taking forever for it to be accomplished?

Sometimes, when sitting in the waiting rooms of life, it's normal for doubt to creep in and make wonder if our lives are still on the right track!

Many great promises in the Bible happened with God's timing, the people had to wait!

Abraham had to wait to see his son born!

Moses and the Israelites were told to wait for an entire generation, before their descendants could enter the promised land!

Paul's miraculous conversion on the road to Damascus, he waited several years before he started his ministry!

What we tend to forget is that God is not limited to using human means to accomplish His goals! What hinders us does not hinder Him!

God’s timing is perfect and His plans are good!

Always remember when we are in life's waiting rooms, to be patient, trust God, and pray!

Because those prayers can move more mountains than you possibly think!

GOD VINDICATES AND RESCUES

The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me (Psalm 118:7)

Remember Paul and Silas; when they were in jail for spreading the good news, it wasn't fair!

They were beaten with rods without a trial; it was unjust, as they sat in the prison, bloodied, bruised, uncomfortable, they then began to sing praises to God (Acts 16:25)

If you are going to live in victory, you have to know how to praise in pain, praise when you are disappointed, praise when you are lonely!

We can all give God praise when on the mountaintop, that's easy, but our attitude should be, "I am going to give Him praise, even if I am in a valley! I am going to praise Him, when I feel like it and I am going to praise him even if I don't feel like it!" Thats the sacrifice of praise!

As they were sitting at midnight, singing praises to God, all of a sudden there was a great earthquake, the prison doors flung open, the chains fell off, they walked out as free men!

What happened? They praised their way to victory!

When you get up in the morning and say, "God, I love you today, I praise you today! Thank you for another beautiful day!"

When you have these high praises coming out of your mouth, the scripture says almighty God will go to war against your enemies!*

Prayer: Almighty Father, Omnipotent God! Our words are praises, giving of thanks, magnifying, glorifying and worshipping You always and forever as the One whom we serve in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? (John 8:10)

Jesus drawing in the sand, some Bible scholars believe that he was writing the names of the various women that the men had slept with!

Other scholars believe that he was writing the sins, of those men, that had stood accusing the woman of adultery, wanting to stone her alive!

Jesus was in His right to stone the woman, based on levitical law! He could of easily cast the first stone!

Yet our Merciful Redeemer, Our MR, choose to have compassion, forgiving and restoring the dear lady, unto a right relationship with His Heavenly Father and Our Spiritual Father!

Prayer: Dear Father, help us not forget, the compassion of our God! Compassion that wins over every thought, of hate, rebellion, pride, self harm, arrogance and malice! TRUE REVIVAL STARTS IN OUR HEART

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones (Isaiah 57;15)

You have got the correct revelation in the spirit

I thought revival is having a big gathering of people with the power of God touching people and people falling on the ground

God has revealed that revival begins with one person getting revived and feeling fired up to share the Good news of the Gospel

And being fired up to have great fellowship with the Holy Spirit of God and being led by the Holy Spirit

That's revival to me!
Being able to move in the will of God that's revival!

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men (1 Thessalonians 5;15)

Walking in goodness, meekness, humbleness, righteousness, and in love that's great revival!

Revival each day is exercise and to stay fired up!

Others think getting fired up is always shouting fire and saying devil come out

The bible say's resist the devil and he will flee away

How do you resist the devil? By being good and meek, When the devil comes with a situation to test you, and because of the goodness and meekness in your life he will never have time to continue troubling you!

He is overpowered when God's People do and have goodness and where he expects failure and bad in return, God's People don't stop doing good!

And when doing the good, the fiery darts or attacks are extinguished from satan

Conquer the devil with God's goodness!

His weapons are evilness and the bad life, but use goodness and the word from the spirit, spoken consistently from our mouths and in so doing God's People conquer!

Pray; Dear Father, Almighty God, please revive our hearts, with the fire that is truly from the Holy Ghost, each day, each moment, each opportunity, is useful in glorifying, speaking and growing, God's Holy Word in our generation, so that many more souls could be won and gained in the Kingdom of God, Jesus is the Lord and Saviour of those precious souls in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

BE ALERT IN THE LORD!

Cast all your anxiety on the Lord because he cares for you

Be self controlled and alert, be sober and vigilant, because your adversary, your enemy the devil, as a roaring lion walketh around, looking for someone to devour" (1Peter 5; 7-8)

Praise the Lord my dear friends and good morning

This is the day that the Lord has made be glad and rejoice in it

(Matthew 26;36 -41)
Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane to pray with Peter, John and James to prepare himself for the time of his death on the cross
The Bible says in verse 38,
My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death stay hear and WATCH WITH ME

Now the Apostle Peter encourages self control and alertness

SELF CONTROL is one of the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)

And the ability to control one self or to control ones behavior

Being ALERT IS also being, sober, being watchful, being vigilant, being attentive and quick to think, but also being observant

Dear friends since our enemy is on the hunt for our lives

As he is walking around like a hungry lion looking for someone to devour

His mission is only to steal, kill and destroy

Peter urges self control in our habits and characters so that we don't become victims and miss the mark

But we should also be watchful in prayer, sober in mind as we walk this journey of faith

(Matthew 26;41)
Jesus told his disciples to WATCH AND PRAY so that they may not fall into temptations"

Prayer is the place of empowerment, emptying one self of wicknesses and clothing one self with the Lord Jesus Christ!

Let's redeem our time as watchful and prayful to overcome our adversary the devil in our days

GOD OUR FATHER LOVES OBEDIENCE

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams (1 Samuel 15;22)

Many of the miracles Jesus performed required an act of obedience!

His first miracle, turning water into wine! He told the staff at the wedding to go fill up these large pots with water (John 2:7)

They obeyed Jesus, though in their minds, that didn't make sense! They could have said, "Jesus we need wine, not water!

What good is this going to do?" The obedience is what brought the miracle! Without them filling the water pots, there would be no wine!

Is God asking you to do something that doesn't make sense? To step out in faith, when you don't have the experience?

To forgive that person that did you wrong? To pray for others that need healing, when you are still not feeling well?

Is He asking you to bring Him five loaves and two fish (Luke 9:13), when you need to feed thousands?

It's not so much what you are doing, it's the obedience! When you prove to God that you are going to do the right thing even when it's hard, even when it doesn't make sense, then you are going to see God do awesome things in your life!

In the Old Testament there was a widow! Her husband had died and left her in great debt

She finally ran out of funds, now the creditors were coming to take her two sons as payment!

The prophet Elisha showed up and asked her what she had in her house! She said, "I don't have anything except a small jar of oil (2 Kings 4:2)."

He told her to go out and borrow as many empty containers as she could find!

That didn't make sense! What good was it going to do to borrow empty containers? She could have said, "Elisha, I need full containers! I need provision! I need funds!"

What God asked or asks to do doesn't always make sense! His ways are not our ways! Many times it's simply a test: if you will obey, the miracles will follow!

Pray; Dear Lord God, obedience is more than offerings, sacrifices and works combined! Lord Jesus thank you that you are our Lord, Saviour, High Priest and merciful Redeemer! Please Almighty Father, more grace, more mercy from Your Throne and more of You in our lives in the precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

GOD IS ONE WITH HIS PRECIOUS PEOPLE!

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake, we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered” (Rom 8:35-36)

Paul the Apostle poses a question! He asks, “What could separate from Jesus? Persecution? danger, hunger, death or fear?

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Rom 8:37)

He fires back to the question he posed! No way! In famine, Jesus! In danger, Jesus! In pain, Jesus! In every single situation, God's People have Christ’s love! Even in death, we have Jesus!

He is giving them the pep talk of a lifetime, speaking “Guys, all these things that you are worried about, none of it can stop you!

You have Jesus! It is the same today! JESUS JESUS JESUS!

Prayer: Dear Omnipotent God, thank you that JESUS IS OUR FOCUS! Not the news, the world or the problems therof, not people, not any negative cirumstance or situation! Our mind refocuses on HIM and HIM ALONE! AS THE TRUE KING of all kings, and LORD of all lords! Thank You King Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me (John 14:30)

Satan and his demons were defeated at the cross two thousand years ago

He stripped dominions and authorities, and made them a public spectacle, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians, 2:15)

But one thing that God's People must know is that to walk in this victory we must live in sanctification

Without sanctification, separation from sin, living continually in the presence of GOD, is hard, so stay sanctified and hold the victory of the cross

In our first verse, Jesus says the prince of this world is coming but he has nothing in me, which means there is no sin in Him that can be an open door for the devil. That means, the devil does not find filthyness in Jesus

Jesus is not immune because of His divinity, but because of His perfect life and His life of obedience

Sanctification is a protective garment on the christian

Paul, for example, asks that we walk in newness of life

We were therefore buried with him by baptism into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life (Romans, 6:4)

To walk in victory over Satan, We must truly walk in newness of life, means get rid of bad habits of the past, sanctify ourselves daily, seek the things above where Christ sits at the right of God; be focused on the things above and not on that which is on the earth

Satan is defeated on the cross but it is our lifestyle that allows us to walk in that victory

Stand firm in Christ in the name of JESUS

PRAYER
Lord God, our Jehovah thank you that Jesus has won all our battles on the cross of calvary! Yours practice, hold and live in this victory each and every single day of our lives going forwards in the precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Dear Father, our God, thank you so much for newiness in the word of God infused in our hearts, one with our spirits, is what makes the supernatural life possible! Please give yours the desire, hunger and determination in reading, speaking, muttering praying and declaring and shouting the word of God, speaking scriptures, that are, so that the word grows in our hearts, minds and lives in the mighty name of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth yours pray!

GOD IS IN LOVE WITH YOU

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love (John 15, 9)

God loves you! Please remember this, God loves you even through the battles, the temptations and the tests of life

Remind yourself of this constantly, and don't stop dwelling in the knowledge of GOD'S LOVE!

God truly loves you! Repeat those words and those thoughts again and again!

I AM LOVED! I AM LOVED! I AM VERY LOVED! MY ABBA GOD LOVES ME SO VERY MUCH!

Remind yourself constantly consistently of the Father's unfailing love! Constantly see yourself loved with the love from Heaven!

If Jesus died for the whole world, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3;16)

Then, if you were the only one on earth that accepted that love, Jesus would still have come to Earth and die on that cross for your sake!

People had a need that is the forgiveness of sins

Why is that so? Because of sin that dwells in our natural human nature! As we were born, we are conceived in sin

God's solution is the making of the new creation, making man a new spiritual being, in the likeness of HIS SON! JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH

That's what born again means
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3;3)

Being born again makes you see!

Dear Lord Jesus, Almighty Father, Holy Spirit! Thank you so very much, that the night Jesus was betrayed, was also the night, that the devil was defeated!

That night was the new beginning of the new creation! The sin of man, dying on the cross, as the son of God, took the sins of the world upon Himself, so that all men could attain the righteousness of God!

The divine exchange of the matchless mercies from a truly love filled Father whom loved and still loves people from all nations that are separated from HIM because of sin!

As yours partake in the holy communion, remembering what Jesus did on the cross of Golgotha!

Never forgetting the pain, the shame, the sacrifice of the spotless lamb of God! Who takes away the sins of the world!
